Roshii is an accountability app with an AI guide in it. It is not a therapist, not a doctor, and not an emergency service. It will sometimes be wrong. What you do with what it says is your decision and your responsibility. If you are in crisis, use the support page, not Roshii.
These terms are an agreement between you and the individual operator of Roshii ("we", "us"). They apply every time you use the app. If you do not accept them, do not create an account, and stop using Roshii.
You must be 18 or older to use Roshii, and you confirmed that when you created your account. Roshii is not designed or intended for children, and we do not knowingly keep accounts held by anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, write to hello@roshii.io and we will delete it.
Roshii is invite only while it is in beta. An invite code does not entitle you to continued access, and we may end the beta, change it, or withdraw access at any time.
Roshii helps you set goals, break them into small tasks, check in against them, and talk to an AI guide that remembers what you have told it. That is all it is.
Roshii does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind. Nothing it says is a diagnosis, a treatment, a therapeutic intervention, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Do not delay seeking, or disregard, professional advice because of something Roshii said.
Roshii is not an emergency or crisis service. Nothing you write is read, monitored, or acted on by a human being. Nobody is alerted. Roshii cannot contact anyone on your behalf and cannot get help to you. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number.
The guide, the generated tasks, the plans, and the behaviour report are produced by a large language model run by Anthropic. Output of that kind is probabilistic. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or confidently wrong, and it can misread what you meant. We do not review it before you see it.
Treat everything Roshii produces as a suggestion to think about, not as instruction to follow. You are responsible for judging whether any suggestion is safe and sensible for you, and for whatever you decide to do. Do not rely on Roshii for anything where being wrong would hurt you.
Roshii is not a reminder system of record. Notifications, streak counts, deadlines and check in prompts can fail, arrive late, or not arrive at all. Do not use it for anything with real consequences for being missed, such as medication, appointments, or legal deadlines.
Keep your password to yourself and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us at hello@roshii.io if you think somebody else has access.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your tasks, goals, check ins, chat history and summaries go with it, and we cannot bring them back.

Roshii's code, design, name and content belong to us. You get a personal, non transferable, revocable licence to use the app, and nothing more.
What you write stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, to send it to Anthropic so the guide can reply, and to generate summaries of it. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Roshii is provided as is and as available, with no promise of uptime. It runs on free tier infrastructure during the beta and it will go down. We may change features, or stop running the service entirely, at any time. Where we can, we will give notice before shutting it down so you can take your data out.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Roshii is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error free, or that anything the AI says is correct or suitable for you.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or connected to your use of Roshii. This includes loss or harm caused by relying on something the AI said, by a missed task, deadline, or notification, or by the service being unavailable.
Our total liability to you for all claims relating to Roshii is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If somebody brings a claim against us because of how you used Roshii, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs from it.
We may update these terms. The version number and effective date at the top change when we do. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Roshii after that means you accept the new version.
Before anything formal, write to hello@roshii.io describing what went wrong and what you want done about it. We will try to settle it within sixty days. Most things end here, and the clause below only matters if this step fails.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the two sections that follow. Those sections take precedence over this one where they apply to you.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. In particular:
Roshii is free during the beta. If it ever becomes paid, you will get the cancellation and withdrawal rights your law requires, set out at the point you are asked to pay.
Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes between us are resolved and it limits your right to go to court or to take part in a class action.
If you live in the United States and we cannot settle a dispute informally under section 13, you and we agree that the dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court and not before a jury. Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in the county where you live or by video or telephone, whichever you prefer. The arbitrator, not a court, decides questions about the scope of this section, except as stated below.
Class action waiver. You and we may bring claims only on our own behalf, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. An arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim, and only that claim, is severed from arbitration and heard in court.
What is carved out. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead, and either of us may seek an injunction in court to stop misuse of intellectual property. Nothing here waives a claim that cannot lawfully be arbitrated, or any right you have to report conduct to a government agency.
How to opt out. You can opt out of this whole section, with no effect on any other part of these terms and no effect on your account. Email hello@roshii.io with the subject line "Arbitration opt-out" and the email address on your account, within thirty days of the day you first accepted these terms. That is the only step; we will confirm it in writing. If you opt out, disputes between us go to the courts under section 13.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. If we change it later, the change does not apply to any dispute we already knew about.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands. Our not enforcing something once does not mean we have given it up. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us. You may not transfer them to anybody else; we may transfer them if the service changes hands.
